Soft sandy beach and a historic pier are the shoreside seducers at Old Orchard Beach where paddling sports and charter fishing fill long days, though be sure to venture inland long enough to sample succulent local lobster.
Over 14,500 works of art, from prints to paintings and photography, form the core of Bowdoin College Museum of Art's permanent collection.
