Soft sandy beach and a historic pier are the shoreside seducers at Old Orchard Beach where paddling sports and charter fishing fill long days, though be sure to venture inland long enough to sample succulent local lobster.
This pond was created by impounding Basin Brook. The pond holds many small wild brook trout, but supplemental plants of yearling brook trout are made annually. A boat can be launched on the southeast corner of the pond. Camping is available at the Basin Campground.
